Meet Our Hygienists

Our hygienists are up to date with the latest education and procedures to prevent, maintain and treat periodontal disease.

Laura, RDH

My career at Contemporary Dentistry began in 2002, working as an assistant while attending hygiene school. Twenty years later, I’m still here, and I still love it. Recently I began teaching clinical dental hygiene, which has not only re-sparked the joy I get from patient care, but also keeps me more current on the latest practices and technology.

I currently reside in Waterford with my husband and our two children.

Caitlin, RDH

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, cooking, baking, going to the beach, and practicing yoga.

I graduated from the University of New Haven with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene, and I am CPR certified. I’ve been practicing as a Dental Hygienist for 12 years with the past 5 years at Contemporary Dentistry.

Tiffany, RDH

I graduated from Tunxis Community State College with an associate in Dental Hygiene. I also have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Masters Degree in education. In my free time, I remain busy with my family: my husband, our two children, and my furry babies. The kids keep us busy with their sports: soccer and track. When I find free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, crafting, yoga and reading.

Meghan, RDH

In 2014, I graduated from Mount Ida College with my Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene with a concentration in forensic science. Since then, I have practiced in both general and periodontal dental practices in Connecticut and Rhode Island; I joined the Contemporary Dentistry team in 2022. I am certified to administer local anesthesia and CPR. Outside the office, I stay busy caring for my Great Dane and my family’s horse farm.
