Dr. Sanfilippo was born in the Bronx, New York and later moved to Bergen County, New Jersey as a teenager. She graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with a double major in Biochemistry and Biology. She was then awarded a teaching/research fellowship, where she also earned a master’s in Human Anatomy and Physiology.

Dr. Sanfilippo completed her DDS at SUNY Stony Brook and has been practicing General Dentistry with an emphasis in Cosmetic Dentistry for over 30 years. She has been named Connecticut Magazines Top Dentist from 2009 through 2023.

Dr. Donna Sanfilippo moved to Connecticut with her husband, Ross, 30 years ago, they raised four children, Ross, Troy, Eric, and Nina on a farm in Salem. Her community service activities include serving on the Giving Committee at L&M/Yale Hospital, School Board Member of the Salem School District, President’s Council of Wheaton College in Norton, Ma. and the Board of the Children’s Museum of SECT. She is also a State Certified Wildlife Rehabilitator for Whitetail Deer.

She is especially interested in cosmetic dentistry and strives for the highest standards in aesthetic results. “Despite dentistry being my profession, I completely empathize with patients suffering from dental anxiety and phobia. Because of this, I treat all my patients how I would like to be, and need to be, treated.”
